I'd say the highlight of the whole weekend was meeting that really cool Space Ghost guy, and the nice artist chick who was the only person to look at my BnF - Gunz drawing and burst out laughing (someone gets the humor, holy shit!). With the exception of only a few people, everyone else who looked at my drawings and comics would either scowl because of the bright colors and cute characters or just look perplexed.

The violence of some of my drawings (like the Zebby's and some of the more morbid BnF drawings) made a few people turn up their noses, which equally amused me because my work wasn't nearly as violent or bloody as everything else on the floor. But hey, that's what I get for not being mainstream and not following the proper formula of violence, lol.

I was seated next to one other group of independent comic artists who were pretty friendly and nice. Unfortunately on my other side (and all around us) were main streamers who looked down on us indie peeps (actually wouldn't look at us at all, lol and they became annoyed and put out when I went over to talk to them and ask them about their work). "Ew ew ew indie freak with your anime shit, don't come over here, you're corroding our air!"

Long story short I learned a lot, namely that I don't ever want to attend another comicon again Maybe I'll try Sakura con since BnF is so anime looking it'll probably fit in better at a place like that. I would've liked it had people been interested in the story rather then what the characters look like but I suppose that's just wishful thinking. People are just judgmental, more so then I realized. I thought a place filled with artists would be a little more progressive, but the majority of people had their heads so far up their own asses they couldn't see anything else.

But hey I sold 6 Bob & Fred books, more then I've sold over at lulu so can't knock that. Course I didn't come close to making up the money lost for renting the booth...or the parking...or printing everything or...lol. Yeah. This is why I've been eating ghetto wrapped, leaky peanut butter and jelly sammiches at school everyday. I've lost A LOT of weight.

Urgh...I just wanna take a nice bubble bath and drown my sorrows in alcohol (which I've decided to buy instead of food because I R genius) but unfortunately I'm stuck at school. Well fuck it, there's always tomorrow.

I'll try not to get too down or angry despite the huge failure which I'm guessing everyone other then myself saw coming. J-chan seems to think we did okay, course then again he's batshit insane so...yeah.
