Artist's Comments
Comments disabled because I'm not a fan of drama llama. And don't note me about this either, all notes whether you're for or against this shall be ignored. I just wanted a good Pro-choice stamp and couldn't find any.
You're entitled to your own opinions but please respect that I have my own, and if you don't want to hear what I think on the matter then quit reading after the bolded portion of the Artist's Comments, thanks. Feel free to use this in your own journal if you'd like. I constantly run into Pro-Lifers who think of people who support Pro-choice as "baby killers" and other such ridiculous terms. Oh noz, they have caught onto mah secret! i totaly lurk in bushes with machette waiting to chop up bebeh! Mwe hur hur! I'm sorry but I think supporting taking away the right of a woman to get an abortion, especially in situations where one who has suffered rape/forced pregnancy, or has a high likely hood of dying during childbirth, etc...is far more effed up then supporting giving a human being the option of removing an unwanted fetus (they're not babies, sorry). People bring in the soul argument: "Well you don't know when the soul attaches itself to the body so regardless of the reason it's not right to kill the "baby". Um...well if you believe in souls I certainly would hope that you'd realize that you CANNOT kill a soul (or rather no human is capable of such a feat). You can kill the vessel that the soul will eventually habit but you cannot kill a soul. A soul will just choose a different body to go into if it wants to be born here in this world, simple as that. I'm pro-choice because I believe that a woman has the right to choose when such a situation arises and that each situation is different and unique to itself (it's never black and white). It's certainly never an easy thing to deal with, and it's a very difficult decision to make. I highly doubt it's one that someone addresses lightly, like people run around casually having sex and then go: "Oops, got pregnant again. Think I'll pop by the abortion clinic before lunch." Yeah...that doesn't happen, and if it were to happen would you really want that person's genetics to infiltrate the already jacked up human gene pool? No you would not. Also this is WIN |
